    Hormuud Telecom awards winners of Koran Contestants

    In an event to end and award the winners of Ramadan Koran Contest was held at the centre of Jazira Hole in Mogadishu Somalia. The event was participated by teachers, families of students, and Hormuud Telecom representatives.

In an event to end and award the winners of Ramadan Koran Contest was held at the centre of Jazira Hole in Mogadishu Somalia. The event was participated by teachers, families of students, and Hormuud Telecom representatives.

On the one hand the aim of the contest was promote literacy among Somali community, on the other it was to motivate the few Somali learners whose public education system has been in effective for past 20 years.

During the month of Ramadan Hormuud telecom sponsored a series of Ramadan contests including high school level contest, Koran level contest, and Banadir districts level knowledge contest.

At the end of the ceremony Hormuud representatives awarded the following Koran contest winners
